Head - Marketing
Job Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and grow the Marketing team for a B2B company with global customers and a primary focus on the US market
- Own and impact the two primary areas of marketing focus: lead generation and branding/awareness
- Develop strategic marketing plans to create new revenue opportunities, upsell and cross-sell with existing customers, and significantly increase the brand awareness in market
- Define and execute on marketing plans, programs and processes to achieve the various revenue, margin, and customer related targets
- Own all digital marketing plans and roadmaps, based on pre-identified outcomes and metrics
- Engage with and impact ratings by industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester, review agencies such as G2 and TrustRadius, and functional forums such as HRTech.
- Independently build, manage client interactions that will lend to building quality artefacts and connects that can be leveraged by the organization
- Creative management of customer events - Ideation of concepts and themes based on technology and business trends, attendee experience design etc.
- Identify the right set of vendors and channels, and work effectively with the commercial team (pre-sales, account executives, SDR, customer success teams) to deliver success
- Understand target markets and use-cases, industry and customer trends, competitive landscape, and help position product effectively to win in the market
- Think out of the box, manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
Essential skills/competencies:
- 10-15 years of experience
- Experience in B2B marketing with a primary focus on US and global markets/customers
- Expert in digital marketing across all channels including website, social media
- Demonstrated experience in driving high quality lead generation and conversion
- Excellent people management skills, to motivate team despite repetitive tasks
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, presentation skills and high problem-solving ability.
- Time and Budget management skills, multi-task, prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines
- Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
- Proactively define and drive customer strategies and goals
- Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery
- High energy level and enthusiasm
- High level of ethics and integrity
Other Requirements:
- Leadership skills, with ability to build and manage high performance teams
- Deep knowledge of customer interfacing and negotiations
- Proven ability to achieve sales and customer satisfaction objectives
- Expert communicator, able to communicate effectively in short and long form
- Able to partner with and influence senior leaders
- Creative, Self-starter, who is highly motivated, focused, curious to learn
