- Ensure hand over processes of inbound stock and paperwork are normally operated

- Daily working process review, discussion
People management
Customer Business Development
- Identify and develop customer sales leads.
- Lead market profiling and customer / competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges.
- Develop effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth.
Business Performance & Results
- Responsible for achieving customer business targets and KPIs.
- Analyse costs and cost structure and develop improvement measurement and actions.
Supervision of Operations
- Activities involved in Setting up of the FTWZ unit till it becomes operational Managing the warehouse, transport & other related functions such as value add including overlooking the Customs function in the FTWZ Manage the measurement, monitoring and actions for improvement
- Organise appropriate shifts and manning levels to meet business requirements.
- Manage dispatch of outbound shipments from country operations to ensure timely departure.
- Ensure accurate sorting and optimum loading of all inbound & outbound shipments.
- Monitor ground handler and warehouse provider performance and complete all necessary reports.
- Ensure that DHL meets/improves upon its regulatory and environmental obligations while actively leading initiatives to remove trade impediments
- Develop initiatives and partnerships that will ensure DHL provides market-leading service relative to our cost position.
- Support the business acquisition process and provide after sales support in order to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Adherence to customers SOP
- Ensure that the SOPs are being followed and adhered to by warehouse.
- Ensure SLA are met and actions to be taken to ensure all KPIs are met as agreed
Quality & Improvement
- Implement initiatives to derive constant improvement and optimization of department resources.
- Ensure adherence to department ISO standards in line with corporate instructions.
- Ensure safe working practices and environment within the shift.
Security Management
- Oversee Security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met.
- Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department. Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
- Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
Consult performance appraisal
- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Country objectives and targets.
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

- 8 or more years of experience in Warehousing & Transport field & working in a senior position managing a large (over 1 lac sq ft) multi product, multiuser facility.
- Background of SEZ operations would be preferred

- Bachelor s degree Diploma/ similar qualification in warehouse operations Warehouse Security progra
