Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation: Utilize various lead generation techniques, including online research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to identify potential customers interested in computer hardware products and services.
  2. Qualification: Evaluate and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their potential as prospective customers.
  3. Database Management: Maintain and update an accurate and up-to-date lead database, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and tracked for future follow-up.
  4. Communication: Initiate contact with leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce our computer hardware products/services, understand their requirements, and present relevant solutions.
  5. Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with potential customers, addressing their inquiries, providing product information, and position the company as a trusted and reliable hardware provider.
  6. Collaboration: Coordinate with the VAM / Partner team and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and facilitate the sales process.
  7. Reporting: Track and report lead generation activities, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to measure the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and campaigns.
  8. Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the computer hardware industry to identify new opportunities and provide valuable insights.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any bachelor's degree.
  • Good knowledge/experience in lead generation, preferably in the computer hardware industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware products (Server & Storage) and services.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with potential customers effectively.
  • Candidate should have exposure of Australia/ New Zealand market.
  • Proficiency in using lead generation tools, CRM systems, and other relevant software applications.
