Job Description
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain relations with Ocean Shipping Lines and NVOCCs
- Negotiate the best rates in the region as per prevailing market conditions
- Stay up to date with local port developments, market trends, carrier plans etc - Manage equipments & space related issues locally
- Work with Sales team for regional targeted customers to improve volumes
- Build container volumes in key trade lanes such as exports to USA, Europe, Middle East and Africa
- Negotiate and drive long term volume based contracts with fixed allocation
Skills Required :
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in pricing / operations / supply chain domain
- Ability to work on multiple bids / enquiries in parallel
- Strong analytical skills and good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Dynamic / aggressive
