ASM | B2C (GTMT) Sales | Cochin - Kerala

Role & responsibilities

• Generating secondary sales through best in shop visibility and availability.
• Having good relationship in the trade and giving value addition to the customer and consumer.
• Ensuring increased distribution coverage and merchandising of Del Monte brands.
• Working on the viability of the distribution partners.
• Ensuring proper coverage of the outlets in the area assigned to the distributors.
• Managing claims.
• Ensuring FIFO in distributors warehouse and outlets.
• Updating the team on the changes happening w.r.t the products, offers and stocks and also informing them about the trends in the industry.
• Understanding the salience of the outlets for the products.
• Tracking high volume and image driven outlets.
• Negotiating with the customers and intervening in the operational issues.
• Building relationships with clients and customers.
• Preparing sales budget, forecasting and market intelligence.
• Training of Sales Executives and distributor salesmen and logistics staff to gather relevant information for reporting.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduation: Any specialization

Post-Graduation (Must have) : PGDM/ MBA in Marketing or Sales Management.

Must have: 8+ years of experience of handling the GTMT sales in a FMCG company, preferably food and beverage industry.
