Role Summary
The Head of Distributor Sales will lead the conceptualisation, development and expansion of Cromas distributor sales channel for smaller devices and plug-and-play type appliances for Croma own label brand majorly. The role will focus on onboarding and managing relationships with large electronics distributors to achieve deep penetration in the retail network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conceptualise, develop and implement a distributor sales strategy to develop the own brand smaller appliance segment.
2. Identify and onboard key distributors with strong retailer networks across India.
3. Build and maintain distributor relationships, ensuring alignment with Croma’s goals.
4. Build a team to support the distributor sales channel for PAN India operations.
5. Contribute towards formulating pricing strategies, trade margins, and incentive programs for distributors.
6. Monitor distributor performance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
7. Work with supply chain teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Key Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
2. 15+ years of experience in distributor sales, preferably in the electronics or FMCG sector.
3. Proven track record of building and managing distributor networks.
4. Deep understanding of the Indian retail landscape and distribution ecosystem.
5. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

1. Number of new distributors onboarded.
2. Growth in distributor sales revenue.
3. Distributor satisfaction and retention rate.
