Key skills for the job
We are seeking a detail-oriented communications professional to support our internal and external communications initiatives. Reporting to the Lead - Internal and External Communications, this role will assist in executing communications strategies and managing day-to-day communications activities.
Key responsibilities :
Content Creation and Channel Management :
- Write and edit content for various internal communication channels including newsletters, intranet, and displays
- Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of communications
- Support the creation of presentation materials for town halls and leadership communications
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal communication templates
- Monitor and update intranet content to ensure information remains current Campaign and Event Support
- Support the execution of employee engagement campaigns
- Assist in coordinating and managing internal events including town halls
- Help track and measure campaign effectiveness through data collection and analysis
- Create post-event reports and maintain documentation of communications initiatives
Communications Operations:
- Manage the internal communications inbox and respond to queries
- Maintain communications databases and archive materials
- Track and report on internal communications metrics
- Support the creation and updating of crisis communication materials
- Assist in developing regular reports on communications effectiveness
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with various departments to gather content and information
- Support change management communications by helping prepare materials
- Assist in maintaining project timelines and tracking deliverables
- Help coordinate reviews and approvals for communications materials
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with digital communication platforms
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
