Job Description
- Design and develop interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau Desktop
- Collaborate with data analysts to identify and gather data requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness in visualizations and reports.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay current with Tableau features and functionality.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
- Provide end-user support and training.
Requirements
Technical Competencies:
- 3+ years of experience in developing interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau Desktop
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design principles
- Strong understanding of data sources, data blending, and data modelling concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Tableau workbooks
- Familiarity with Tableau Server and Tableau Prep
- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
Personal Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
