Tableau Developer
Role and Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
Gather and analyze business requirements to create effective data visualizations
Integrate data from various sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, web services) into Tableau
Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
Provide support and training to end-users on Tableau usage
Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and best practices
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer
Proficient in creating complex calculations, parameters, and actions in Tableau
Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts
Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data
Experience in data blending and data source connections in Tableau
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and principles
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Experience in creating custom Tableau extensions or web applications
