Lead Tech BA Life/ General Insurance SQL, API Integration - 7+ Years - Bangalore

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with 7-20 years of experience in SQL, API integration, data base management and product lifecycle within Life or General Insurance (Fire, Marine, Motor, property etc) space to join our dynamic Technology team.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaising with internal teams (Sales, Underwriting, Actuary, Operations, Claims, Finance) and external partners to ensure alignment on processes and applications.

2. Eliciting requirements and designing system solutions to meet business needs.

3. Defining the customer journey and improving user experience.

4. Coordinating with development teams for project planning and timely deliveries.

5. Leading weekly sprint planning sessions with Product Managers to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 7-20 years of experience in the insurance domain, with strong expertise in General (Fire/Marine/motor etc) /life insurance products.

2. In-depth knowledge of insurance processes (quote, policy issuance, finance, claims), with a focus on at least one process area.

3. Hands-on experience with SQL and API Integration.

4. Understanding of Java, microservices, and web services is a plus.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
