Tendering Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Study of Tender Documents, prepare Tender Synopsis & Responsibility Matrix
• Pre-bid Site Visit Prepare pre-bid queries, attend pre-bid meeting
• Identification and discussion with pre-bid Consultants (if EPC Tender)
• Quantity Takeoff (if EPC Tender)
• Floating enquiries, collecting quotations, negotiations and prepare comparison statement
• Prepare Costing (Direct & Indirect) in accordance with tender requirement
• Documentation for tender submission (Technical & Financial)
• Trends of past bids along with competitor analysis
• Preparation of Post-bid Cost Estimate (Budget)
• Develop a strategic action plan to continually collaborate with targeted clients and professional services providers in the industry.
• Develop and execute business development plan for assigned region, ensuring that annual sales, client development and retention targets are met or exceeded.
• Maintain market and competitor intelligence in primary and secondary markets.
• Responsible for acquiring the required Tender documents through online or hard copy for the purpose of Bidding the project.
• Co-ordinate with the different departments from Head Office and Regional office in the process of working for the Bid.
• Preparation and Review of Pre-bid Queries to be raised to the client to get clarification and following up with the client for the same.
• Review the overall cost of the project considering all aspects and review the same with higher management.
