Quality Assurance Engineer - Python/PyTest/Robot (3-6 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test suites using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework.

- Automate UI/Frontend and Backend testing scenarios.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release.

- Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and track them to resolution.

- Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and identify potential risks.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing progress and findings effectively.

- Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks and automation scripts.

- Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in testing processes and quality assurance.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Extensive experience with Pytest framework, including test fixture creation, parameterization, and reporting.

- Experience with Robot Framework for test automation.

- Experience in UI/Frontend and Backend testing methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Knowledge of SQL and databases.

- Experience with performance and security testing
