Job Title : Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Primary Skills Required :

- Programming Expertise : Strong programming knowledge in Python or Java, with real-world experience in automating applications using Python.

- Framework Proficiency : Hands-on experience with the Pytest framework.

- API Automation : Proficient in API automation, particularly using tools like REST Assured or Pytest.

Responsibilities :

- Test Case Development : Write and automate test cases with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

- Automation Expertise : Develop and maintain Python-based test automation solutions.

- Selenium Experience : Utilize Selenium WebDriver for web automation testing.

- API Automation Tools : Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience with API automation tools such as REST Assured or Pytest.

- Mentorship : Drive testing initiatives and mentor junior team members.

- Testing Fundamentals : Apply strong foundational knowledge of software testing principles.

- Web and App Testing : Exhibit expertise in web and app-based testing and understanding their architectures.

- Agile Practices : Work effectively within agile frameworks and adhere to agile best practices.

- System Landscape Understanding : Maintain a solid understanding of end-to-end system landscapes.

- Infrastructure Knowledge : Possess good knowledge of infrastructure to support testing and automation processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Knowledge of performance testing and related tools.

- Experience with cloud platforms and services.

- Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in software testing or automation (e.g. , ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester) are a plus
