Hiring Devops Lead - GCP

**Job Title:** Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the development and implementation of our DevOps practices across multiple QA teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automation (Ansible etc.,). You will work closely with our engineering teams to design and implement scalable and reliable software systems, ensuring high availability, quality and performance.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Cloud Infrastructure:** Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure, GCP using Terraform. GCP Mandatory skill
2. **Containerization and Orchestration:** Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
3. **Automation and Configuration Management:** Automate deployment, configuration, and management of applications using Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
4. **Monitoring and Logging:** Configure and maintain monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (ELK Stack) to ensure high availability and performance.
5. **Security and Compliance:** Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements using AWS IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, and other cloud security services.
6. **Collaboration and Communication:** Work closely with engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable software systems. Provide expert-level guidance on DevOps practices and technologies.
7. **Mentorship:** Mentor junior engineers in DevOps practices and technologies, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

**Requirements:**

1. **Experience:** 10+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role with expertise in cloud infrastructure (GCP Mandatory skill , AWS, Digital Ocean, Azure), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and automation (Ansible).
2. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3. **Skills:**

* Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and orchestration
* Expert-level experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
* Good understanding of testing tools & frameworks like TestNG, Selenium, Appium & JMeter
* Good understanding of database like PostgreSQL, CouchDB, MongoDB etc.
* Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues
* Ability to think critically and find solutions
* Mentor Juniors on DevOps practices and lead technical projects
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

**Nice to Have:**

1. Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (ELK Stack)
2. Familiarity with cloud security services like AWS IAM, Kubernetes RBAC
3. Familiarity with Networking concepts like TCP/IP, routing & firewall configuration
