Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Python/PyTest (3-5 yrs)

Primary Skills Required :

- Strong Python programming knowledge with hands-on experience in automating applications using Python.

- Proficiency in the Pytest framework.

- Experience in API functional testing and automation.

Responsibilities :

- Design, write, and automate test cases with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

- Develop Python-based test automation solutions and maintain automation scripts.

- Implement and maintain test frameworks, with a focus on Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.

- Perform API testing and automation using tools like REST Assured or Pytest.

- Apply strong testing fundamentals to ensure product quality, and mentor junior team members in best practices.

- Conduct comprehensive web and app-based testing, understanding system architecture.

- Collaborate in an Agile environment, adhering to Agile methodologies and practices.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of end-to-end system landscapes and dependencies.

- Leverage infrastructure knowledge to optimize test environments and setups.

Required Qualifications :

- Proven experience in Python and test automation frameworks.

- Solid understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools.

- Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and testing environments
