Safety Steward

We are seeking Safety Stewards to oversee safety compliance at an industrial worksite for our client, a well-established heavy engineering company. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring site safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and assisting in emergency situations. Requirements

• Location : Surat Hazira
• Education: 12th/ Any Graduate and Other. (B.sc + Safety Freshers also Apply)
• Certifications: Diploma Safety .
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in Safety Field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to train and influence teams effectively.
• Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA, ISO 45001, and local labor laws.
• Ability to travel and work on-site across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety protocols across the industrial site.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard identification.
• Ensure workers and visitors comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
• Assist in emergency response, including first aid and fire safety procedures.
• Report safety violations, incidents, or near-misses to site supervisors.
• Support toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) officers and site management.
• Maintain clear records of safety observations and incidents.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial safety, construction, or heavy engineering environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
• First aid and fire safety training (preferred).
• Excellent observational and communication skills.
• Ability to stay alert and take decisive action in high-risk environments.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Willingness to work shift patterns, weekends, and extended hours if required.
