Maintenance Manager

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities within the plant, ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and longevity of equipment, machinery, and systems critical to the manufacturing process. The role demands a high level of expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, a deep understanding of chemical processing equipment, and strong leadership abilities to manage a team of skilled technicians. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to safety, cost management, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations to minimize downtime and enhance plant productivity.

Role & responsibilities :

• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance within the manufacturing plant.
• Ensuring optimal operational efficiency by implementing preventive maintenance plans, managing repairs, supervising a team of technicians, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards to minimize production downtime and maximize product quality

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors Degree (preferably in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field)
• Minimum of 05-10 years of experience in maintenance roles within the chemical manufacturing, process, & FMCG or industrial sectors
• Proven track record of managing maintenance teams and overseeing maintenance operations. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial position
