The Role:

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machinery, and utilities, ensuring their smooth and reliable operation. You will play a critical role in planning preventive maintenance, managing spare parts inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the SCM Director, your expertise will help optimize productivity, reduce downtime, and extend machinery lifespan while fostering a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Maintenance Planning & Execution:

• Undertake scheduled and breakdown maintenance of plant, building, machinery, and utilities.
• Develop and execute monthly preventive maintenance schedules to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Maintain and update machine history records for effective decision-making.

✅ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

• Create and maintain SOPs and checklists for maintenance tasks to ensure quality and consistency.

✅ Inventory Management:

• Plan and manage spare parts and maintenance tool inventories to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
• Coordinate with vendors for critical spare parts procurement.

✅ Team Leadership & Training:

• Train and manage maintenance personnel to perform standardized and non-standardized tasks efficiently.
• Promote 5S practices and industry standards within the maintenance team.

✅ Continuous Improvement:

• Conduct periodic audits to identify non-conformities and recommend improvements.
• Execute small projects aimed at increasing asset productivity and lifespan, including ROI analysis and monitoring.

✅ Safety & Compliance:

• Foster a safe working environment for personnel and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and regulations.

✅ Performance Tracking & Reporting:

• Measure and report key metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and preventive maintenance adherence.
• Submit monthly and annual reports with visual dashboards.

Required Skills and Competencies:

▪ Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC/Turning Center maintenance, electrical LT & HT switchgear, and hydraulic systems.

▪ Analytical Thinking: Proficient in diagnostic skills, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

▪ Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage manpower planning, and promote collaboration.

▪ Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with TPM, Kaizen, and 5S practices.

▪ Tool Proficiency: Experience with Fanuc controllers, MS Office, and specialized maintenance tools.

What Makes You Our Perfect Match?

Experience:

• 2 plus years of maintenance experience in CNC/VMC/HMC/Turning Center equipment.

Qualification:

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in MTTR/MTBF analysis, equipment installation and commissioning, and industrial safety.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
