Accountant US FAO and Payroll

Role & Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting audits. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Financial Reporting & Monthly Close:

Manage the monthly closing process for assigned clients, including posting journal entries and allocations.

Prepare and maintain recurring journal entries and update allocation entries.

Issue preliminary and final financial statements to clients and address any P&L-related queries.

Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis and participate in balance sheet reviews.

2. Client Relationship Management:

Act as a secondary contact for client queries and financial matters.

Participate in weekly client meetings and provide financial insights.

Ensure timely responses to client requests and maintain professional communication.

3. Fixed Assets & Reconciliations:

Maintain the fixed asset system, updating it with new acquisitions and changes.

Reconcile bank accounts and various balance sheet items.

4. Audit Support & Compliance:

Assist in preparing audit schedules and support the audit process.

Work closely with auditors and the Controller to ensure compliance.

Approve new vendor setup and manage necessary documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet, and P&L.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis).

Experience in client handling and financial reporting.

Soft Skills & Competencies:

Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, customers, and vendors.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
