Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Datacom L2/L3 Protocol Developer with expertise in C/C++ and deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols like OSPF, BGP, and MPLS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Datacom systems, network protocols, and a good understanding of Python/Shell scripting for automation.

In this role, you will be developing, optimizing, and maintaining L2/L3 protocols for high-performance Datacom systems. You will be part of an Agile team, working on the design and implementation of scalable solutions, while collaborating closely with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Protocol Development :

- Design, develop, and optimize L2/L3 protocols including OSPF, BGP, and MPLS for Datacom systems.

System Optimization :

- Ensure that the protocols function efficiently with low latency and high reliability in real-time networking systems.

Python/Shell Scripting :

- Develop Python and Shell scripts for automation, data processing, and system performance optimization.

Agile Development :

- Work in Agile environments to deliver iterative protocol enhancements and improvements.

Collaboration and Testing :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, and infrastructure) to ensure high-quality protocol delivery and testing.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Document the designs, test cases, and protocols to ensure proper knowledge sharing and compliance with project requirements.

Key Skills & Experience :

Must-Have Skills :

- Expertise in C/C++ programming for Datacom systems.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with L2/L3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS).

- Strong understanding of Datacom systems and networking protocols.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience in Python and Shell scripting for automation and system optimization.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience :

- 6-12 years of experience in Datacom L2/L3 protocol development.

- Experience in developing and optimizing OSPF, BGP, and MPLS protocols.

- Exposure to Python or Shell scripting for automating networking tasks.

- Hands-on experience working with Agile methodologies.
