Role Overview :

As a DevSecOps Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of DevSecOps practices and tooling to ensure secure software development. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, monitor vulnerabilities, and implement security best practices across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of secure DevSecOps processes and solutions for cloud-native applications.

- Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring automation and testing of security controls.

- Work with developers and security teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities early in the development process.

- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and incident response.

- Implement tools for continuous security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and threat detection.

- Collaborate with development teams to promote a culture of security awareness and provide guidance on secure software development practices.

- Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with security in mind.

- Perform risk assessments and audits on applications and infrastructure to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

- Lead post-incident reviews and apply lessons learned to improve security processes.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in DevSecOps, security, and cloud technologies.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 12+ years of experience in DevSecOps or related roles.

- 5+ years of proven experience in DevSecOps or similar security-focused roles.

- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Expertise in security tools like static code analysis, dynamic analysis, vulnerability scanners, and container security.

- Experience with security automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

- Familiarity with secure coding practices and threat modeling.

- Strong experience with containerization and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of network security, identity management, encryption, and access controls.

- Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001).

- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or Certified DevSecOps Professional are a plus.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
