Position Overview:
- We are looking for a strong Leader with a penchant for Technology and Business alike.
- The ideal person would have extensive experience of working closely with clients to understand their cloud usage, optimize their cloud expenditure, and ensure financial accountability.
- The individual will own the P&L for the segment/region and manage relationships with the Clients & Hyperscalers, Revenue & Margins, Client Deliveries, People & Processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and vision by developing long and short-term plans to deliver on agreed Revenue targets.
- Nurture and identify the growth opportunities in the existing account
- Conceive, develop and define client engagement strategy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the customer accounts.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to optimize cloud costs and improve financial performance.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with clients to discuss performance, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies along with Hypercalers - AWS, GCP, Microsoft
- Conduct regular pricing reviews to ensure all services are appropriately priced, pitched and presented in the market.
- Lead and mentor a team of Cloud FinOps professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Work closely with the Sales, Pre-sales, Marketing teams, and Delivery teams.
- Operational and performance reporting to the Management.
Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years experience in helping customers in their cloud adoption & optimization journey.
- Strong understanding of at least one of the Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience of independently managing a business unit / segment / region, with Revenue and P&L accountability is preferred.
- Should have worked closely with customers of varied sizes in different Geographies and Industries; preferably DNBs, ISVs & Startups.
- Should be able to create a growth strategy for the region and translate it into an actionable plan.
- Should be able to drive innovation in cloud cost management practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven people management experience, including hiring, supervision, mentoring, and evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA preferably from Premier Institutions.
