Design the architecture for hosting multi-tier / monolithic / microservices applications on the AWS Cloud based on customer needs
Independently review client infrastructure, conduct cost optimization audits and well-architected reviews to identify cost in-efficiencies like underutilized resources, architectural pitfalls, pricing options
Setup, deploy and manage applications on Cloud preferably automated using infrastructure tools like cloudformation/terraform
Implement governance standards including resource tagging, account structure, provisioning, permissions and access
Proactively provide data-driven, quantitative cost optimization opportunities for the customers and support the customer s team to achieve the same
Do POC on the new services/features launched by the AWS and integrate them with the existing systems for better performance & cost savings
Built a cost-aware ecosystem and increase cost visibility by the use of alerting and reporting Innovate and actively look for improvements in overall infrastructure
Must-have Qualifications, Skills & Experience
B.E/B.Tech/MCA, with 7+ years of experience working on the AWS cloud.
Should have worked on various AWS services like: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Serverless, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudTrail etc or simpler services in other clouds
Broad knowledge of the AWS cloud offering and consumption models
Well-versed in any scripting languages like Python, Bash
Have experience in handling production load and issues related to deployment in production
Self-starter and ability to deliver under tight timelines
Good understanding of DevOps Practices
Comfortable to contribute both as a lead as well as an individual contributor
Effective communicator with the ability to drive discussions among stakeholders from entry-level to C-suite level
Good to have Skills & Experience
Experience with any third-party cost optimization tools like CloudCheckr, CloudAbility, CloudHealth, etc
Good hands-on experience in managing large infrastructure setup & deep understanding of AWS billing constructs like:
