Job Title: Compensation & Benefits Specialist
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM IST
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation structures and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience in market analysis, and a comprehensive understanding of compensation and benefits best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compensation Strategy & Market Analysis:
- Design and execute salary structures that are competitive and aligned with market trends and internal equity. Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking studies, and market research to ensure competitive pay positioning across the organization. Manage merit increase programs, bonus/incentive structures, and other compensation-related initiatives that align with business objectives.
2. Benefits Administration & Optimization:
- Evaluate and enhance employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and other employee perks. Partner with external vendors to optimize benefits offerings, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high employee satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all relevant local labor laws, company policies, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits.
3. HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Analyze compensation trends and provide data-driven insights to leadership, assisting with key decision-making processes. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on salary competitiveness, pay equity, and workforce costs to support business strategy. Present compensation analyses to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory:
- Work closely with regional HR teams and leadership to develop and implement pay-for-performance strategies. Advise management on compensation-related matters, including promotions, retention strategies, and total rewards communications. Support leadership in developing and communicating compensation and benefits policies effectively across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-12 years in compensation, benefits, or total rewards roles, with a proven track record in designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Expertise in market pricing tools such as Mercer, Radford, or similar platforms. Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
