Role Purpose
We are hiring for the role of City Head - Distribution. This is a Team Leader role reporting into to the Distribution Department Head.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving EMI transactions across city stores, boosting EMI volume and count for eligible locations, and expanding EMI Value-Added Services (VAS). You'll foster strong relationships with brand teams and distributors, enhance merchant engagement through problem-solving and business development, and ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration with issuers, OEMs, acquirers, and service teams, supported by approximately 20 ISPs. Additionally, you will oversee manpower planning, beat planning and training to support team growth and optimize performance.
Relevant Work Experience:
•Experience in sales in Fintech, Banking and
Financial Services including Insurance,
Telecom, FMCG, FMCD will be preferred. Prior
experience in POS Sales, Solution Selling, EMI
Deals, Working Capital Loans is desirable but not necessary.
Years of Experience:
•3 to 6 years of Overall Experience with
minimum 1 year spent in a Managerial Capacity
The responsibilities we entrust you with
• Product Knowledge: Maintain deep expertise in CDIT, Non-CDIT, Wheels, and NBFC sectors.
Leverage competitive insights to enhance product pitching and retention. Drive adoption of
new products and initiatives to support business growth and ensure Pay Later visibility.
• Customer Insights: Record and analyze store insights to identify solutions for business growth
and customer retention. Ensure that merchant training, led by ISPs, supports continuity in GTV.
• Market Strategy: Pitch and launch new products to merchants based on their needs and
market trends. Offer turnkey solutions using product knowledge and competitive insights, in
close collaboration with KAM teams.
• Sales Execution: Plan and execute sales strategies across all assigned stores in the 4-5 LOBs.
Visit stores to gather feedback, ensure compliance with strategies, and work with the KAM team
to monitor volumes and address potential merchant attrition.
• People Management: Align with the AOP, build and train a strong team, foster teamwork, and
resolve conflicts quickly. Minimize turnover, drive high performance, and develop beat plans for
effective resource allocation.
Qualification:
•MBA in Marketing, Masters
(Engineering/Commerce/Science), BE/Btech
