Job Summary:

The opportunity is for Vice President - Business Development in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The ideal candidate will be a Chemical Engineer with a strong background in process engineering and Sales & business development, possessing deep industry knowledge and a track record of successfully driving sales and partnerships in the process equipment sector.

This leadership role requires strategic vision, technical acumen, and commercial expertise to expand market presence, develop key customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Expansion:

Technical & Process Engineering Expertise:

- Leverage process engineering knowledge to understand customer requirements and recommend customized process equipment solutions.

- Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to align product development with market needs.

- Provide technical guidance to sales teams, ensuring accurate and compelling presentations to clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory); an MBA is a plus.

- Industry Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience, with a strong background in process engineering and business development in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of process equipment (e.g., reactors, filtration systems, drying equipment, heat exchangers, etc.).

- Market Knowledge: Strong network and understanding of global trends, regulations, and customer needs in the pharma and chemical industries.

- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively for business development, customer meetings, and industry events.
