SAP FI Functional Consultant - AP/AR/GL Modules (5-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for SAP FI configurations and customizations.

- Document and communicate requirements effectively to stakeholders.

- Configure and customize SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA).

- Design and implement solutions to meet specific business needs and improve financial processes.

- Perform system testing and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SAP CO, MM, SD, etc.) to ensure seamless integration between modules.

- Work closely with ABAP developers to design and implement custom solutions and enhancements.

- Participate in integration testing and resolve any integration-related issues.

- Provide timely and effective support for SAP FI-related issues and inquiries.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP FI configurations and processes.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

- Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects.

- Ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and execute test plans and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Provide support for financial audits and compliance activities.

- Prepare comprehensive functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.

- Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of the SAP FI system.

- Create test scripts, and perform unit and integration testing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FI Functional Consultant.

- Strong knowledge of SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, BA).

- Experience with SAP configuration and customization.

- Understanding of integration with other SAP modules (CO, MM, SD).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.

- Experience with Indian GST and TDS is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP certification in FI.

- Experience with project management methodologies.

- Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
