Job Opening in bureau Veritas- Operation Head Leather & Footwear

Job Purpose:-

• Responsible for overall functioning of Leather & Footwear department
• Supervising the testing staff for testing and reporting process.
• Communication with clients, agents and vendors for their day to day problems regarding test protocols, testing and test methods.
• Random checking of data transfer, test results etc.
• Approving the final test reports issued by team.
• Reviewing the non-conforming testing and test reports and to provide opportunities for improvements.
• Analyzing the root cause and suggesting corrective and/or preventive actions for testing problem including customer complaints.
• Ensuring system for control of records for proper security and easy retrieval.
• Identifying and recommending the training needs of the testing personnel.
• Updating the team on QS and client issues and new Regulations.
• Providing requisite trainings to the teams.
• Planning actions to achieve the planned objectives global quality objectives & QS.
• Ensuring system for proper handling, storage, packaging, preservation, delivery of test samples and control samples of every test .
• Any other responsibilities assigned by HOD from time to time.

HSE Responsibilities:-

• Apply and respect safety, health and environment requirement in daily activities
• Watch for potentially hazardous working conditions or work practices and report them to his or her supervisor (s) as soon as possible.
• Line management is responsible for compliance with legal and other applicable QHSSE
• requirements (e.g. Group QHSSE policies, procedures, campaigns, client requirements).
