Role Summary

The Productivity Analyst will work closely with teams across the organization to monitor and evaluate performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to optimize people productivity. This individual will gather data, analyze trends, and recommend improvements that lead to cost reduction, enhanced operational workflows, suggest scope for automation and implementing strategies to achieve optimal workforce performance

What the role entails Key accountabilities/ responsibilities

Workforce Analysis & Planning:

• Analyze staffing patterns and workload distribution to identify inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain manpower productivity metrics and KPIs.
• Conduct gap analyses to ensureappropriate workforce allocation across teams.

Forecasting & Resource Optimization:

• Forecast manpower needs based on business growth, seasonal demands, and operational requirements.
• Develop strategies for optimal resource utilization, reducing downtime or overstaffing.
• Provide recommendations for workforce scaling, including recruitment or retrenchment plans.

Process Improvement:

• Assess current processes and workflows to identify productivity bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with department managers to implement best practices and process enhancements.
• Conduct time-and-motion studies or similar assessments to evaluate task efficiency.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce performance data using analytics tools.
• Create dashboards and detailed reports for senior management to track manpower productivity trends.
• Monitor adherence to productivity targets and highlight areas for improvement.

Cost Management:

• Evaluate manpower costs and identify opportunities to improve cost-efficiency without compromising business outcome

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Partner with leaders to align manpower strategies with business goals.
• Present findings, insights, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirement

Essential

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams

Education

Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Experience

3–5 years of experience in manpower productivity analysis, workforce planning, or related roles

Experience in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, healthcare) may be preferred depending on the company.

Familiarity with data modelling, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
