Operations Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Accountable for working within budgets and optimizing the cost centers without any compromise on quality
• Accountable for developing systems and processes in the organization as and when needed to ensure that the business is 100% systems driven
• Maximizing efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, logistics, procurement, production and improving accuracy and results through collaborative approach with vendors/suppliers
• Implementing latest best practices in regard to technology, inventory and demand management, and compliance management across the group
• Driving common processes, disciplines, systems and metrics across the planning function by leveraging technology and advanced planning systems to enable best practice operating efficiencies.
• Accountable for Performance Management of the Operations team
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Primary KPIs -

1. Ensuring all orders are delivered on time
2. Accountable for maintaining stock levels of RM, FG, PM to ensure orders can be delivered on time
3. Accountable for Production Planning to ensure all orders are delivered on time

Preferred candidate profile:

• 7 years of overall experience in the FMCG industry with experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations.
• 3 years experience in plant operations, production planning and execution
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; from a Tier 1 or 2 college in India
• An experience of having led a team of at least 15-20 people in the Operations space in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to set processes and structures
• Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Living within 5 Km radius from Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi.
• Preferably having a food technology background
