Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Head to lead the marketing strategies and campaigns for both Travel+Leisure India and Lifestyle Asia India. This role will involve overseeing the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives aimed at driving brand growth, audience engagement, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in marketing, a passion for luxury and travel brands, and a deep

understanding of digital and print media.

We are only considering candidates who are based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai or Delhi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Travel+Leisure India and Lifestyle Asia India to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and market share.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing efforts with the overall business goals and objectives of both brands.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, driving creativity and innovation.

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all channels, including print, digital, social media, and events.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of brand campaigns that reflect the luxury and premium nature of both publications.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.

Content Marketing Audience Engagement

  • Collaborate with editorial teams to create compelling content that aligns with the interests and lifestyles of our target audience.
  • Develop and execute audience engagement programs, including email campaigns, loyalty programs, and exclusive events, to build a strong community around both brands.
  • Monitor audience feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve content and engagement strategies.


Sales Support Brand Solutions

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and provide tailored marketing solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Develop customized brand solutions for advertisers and partners, leveraging both Travel+Leisure India and Lifestyle Asia Indias strengths in luxury travel and lifestyle content.
  • Assist in creating compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitch decks that highlight unique selling points and demonstrate the value proposition of both brands.
  • Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to the sales team to enhance client relationships and optimize revenue opportunities.
  • Support in the development of branded content, native advertising, and sponsorship opportunities to offer clients integrated marketing solutions that drive business results.
  • Work with the sales team to identify and nurture new business opportunities, particularly in the luxury, travel, and lifestyle sectors, through joint marketing initiatives and partnerships.

Revenue Growth

  • Work closely with sales teams to create marketing strategies that drive subscription, advertising, and partnership revenue for both brands.
  • Identify new business development opportunities, including sponsorships, collaborations, and events, to diversify revenue streams.

Event Marketing Partnerships

  • Plan and execute high-profile events to elevate brand presence and engage with premium audiences.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with luxury brands, travel companies, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

Team Management Development

  • Lead and mentor to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Ensure continuous learning and development opportunities for the marketing team to stay ahead in the evolving media landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing, with at least 1 to 2 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the luxury, travel, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong experience in both digital and traditional marketing, with a deep understanding of brand building, audience targeting, and content creation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various platforms (social media, print, online, events).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience working with luxury brands and an understanding of the high-net-worth individual (HNWI) audience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A deep passion for travel, lifestyle, and luxury industries is a must.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Master s degree (MBA) or relevant certifications in digital marketing/branding is a plus.
