Bar Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Ensures the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed
• Engage in guests interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner
• Supervision and direction of bartenders and bar backs
• Ensure standardization and consistent beverage preparation, presentation and quality
• Monitor and control bar beverage stocks and ensure efficient use of products
• Assist and direct other staff when necessary
• Ensure bar is well-stocked and clean.
• Track customer behavior and sales.
• Maintain budget and monitor costs.
• Maintain drink recipe documentation.
• Oversee planning for special events.
• Initiate and maintains vendor relationships.

Preferred candidate profile and skills:

• Prior Bar Supervisor experience is a plus
• Innovative and updated as per market trends
• Verbal communication
• Customer focus/Customer service/relationships
• Basic safety
• Selling to customer needs
