Job Description
- Identify and target supply entities such as briquette makers, pellet makers, and industrial biomass suppliers.
- Work on leads generated by marketing initiatives in assigned areas.
- Collaborate with inside sales and customer success teams to analyze customer needs, demonstrate platform value, and establish proof of concept.
- Sell subscriptions to the platform and assist customers in usage.
- Ensure active participation and growth of customer businesses through advisory on subscription plans and services.
- Create success plans for subscribers on the platform.
- Draft proposals and quotes, follow up on them, and enable sales conversion.
- Address and resolve customer queries using defined organizational processes.
- Experience in direct/indirect sales of e-commerce marketplace/software-based solutions targeting the rural and farm sectors.
- Employment in software, agri-tech, or farm sector product companies is preferred.
- Knowledge of local culture, influencers, and customer needs in the region.
- Ability to sell marketplace subscriptions, conduct platform demos, and manage relationships.
- Skills in concept sales and informed decision-making using MIS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the local language.
- Assertive and friendly interpersonal traits.
- Relationship-focused leadership qualities with a strong ability to build trust.
