Senior Filed Auditor

Job Summary:

The Senior Field Auditor is responsible for performing independent audits of financial records and operational activities to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. This role requires the ability to analyze data, assess risks, and provide insights for improvements in financial reporting, internal controls, and efficiency. The Senior Field Auditor will work closely with management, teams, and external stakeholders to deliver accurate and actionable audit findings. This role involves significant travel to various locations for field audits, as well as flexibility in working from different sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform field audits of financial and operational records for various departments or locations.
• Assess compliance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports that provide clear insights and actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and execute audit plans based on the risk assessment and audit objectives.
• Review and evaluate internal control systems to ensure they are effective and efficient.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors and staff, providing guidance on auditing techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and assist in the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve operational processes.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimize audit processes.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with company deadlines.

Work Environment:

• Travel is required, including visits to remote sites or client locations.
