Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including DPR, yearly budget, monthly programs, and bulk material scheduling.
• Prepare monthly reports and implement three-month look-ahead programs.
• Monitor project progress and analyze contract documents using MIS.
• Conduct risk analysis, maintain hindrance and drawing registers.
• Perform quantity surveying by cross-checking quantities from CAD/PDF drawings as per IS code guidelines.
• Evaluate quantities for client and subcontractor billing, and develop action plans accordingly.
• Analyze direct costs (based on BOQ) and indirect costs (overhead) for DC and IDC analysis.
• Recognize project revenue and prepare monthly sales reports.
• Manage cost provisions against unbooked costs to analyze profit and loss.
• Conduct rate analysis for vendors and extra items, finalize vendors, and procure services up to site level.
