IT Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Engineer with 3- 5 years of experience to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network management, camera systems, laptops, helpdesk support, and vendor management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can maintain, support, and optimize our network and IT infrastructure.

• Network Management:
  Design, implement, and maintain the organization s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  Troubleshoot network-related issues and provide prompt resolutions.
• Camera Systems:
  Manage and maintain surveillance camera systems, ensuring proper installation, configuration, and functionality.
  Collaborate with security teams to ensure that camera systems meet security standards and requirements.
• Laptop and Hardware Management:
  Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and other hardware for end-users.
  Ensure that all hardware and software are up-to-date and meet
  organizational standards.
  Provide technical support for hardware-related issues and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Helpdesk Support:
  Provide Level 1/2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Resolve escalated helpdesk tickets related to network, hardware, and software issues.
  Document issues, resolutions, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the helpdesk team.
  Visit different project sites to resolve Camera / Printer / Internet / Laptop issues.
• Vendor Management:
  Assist team lead in collaborate with vendors to procure, maintain, and
  support IT hardware, software, and services.
  Assist team lead in evaluating vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Education:
Diploma in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
CCNA certified

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, IT support, or a related field.
Proven experience with network management, including configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Experience with camera systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware, including configuration and deployment.

Skills:
Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Certifications: (Preferred but not required)
  CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar networking certifications.
  ITIL certification for helpdesk and service management.
