Senior HR Officer / Asst HR Manager

Role & responsibilities

Job Description

• Recruiting new staff
• Making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time
• Managing PF, bonus, ESI and other benefits administration
• Carrying out necessary administrative duties
• Preparing job descriptions and advertisements
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives
• Looking after the health, safety and welfare of all employees
• Organizing staff training
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance
• Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures
• Ensuring candidates have the right to work at the Organization
• Advising on disciplinary and employee performance problems
• Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions and redundancy packages with staff and trade union representatives.
• Employee Exit Management
• Maintain HR system and databases.
• Handling the termination process, issuing warning letters, issuing the termination letter
• Processing the company's payroll and F&Fs as per the legal standard and company policy

Preferred candidate profile

Job Requirement / Skills -

• Bachelors degree & MBA from a main University in HR management with 5-8 years HR experience.
• Diploma in Computer with good in MS office operation
• Knowledge of information systems and experience in handling bulk databases.
• He should be good in Excel functions especially Pivots, V-lookup.
• Immediate joiner

HR professional with 5-8 years HR experience preferably in retail industry. Should be well versed and experience in Indian labor laws and regulations, HR policies, recruitments, Training, pay roll maintenance, PMS, Employee relations, and policy implementation & able to manage all day to day HR tasks.

Proven Experience in HR functions, strong interpersonal & communication skills, and strategic mindset required.

In-depth knowledge of HR laws regulations and best practices, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
