Procurement Engineer-Civil (JOB CODE : KSA-1303)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor degree/master in civil engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
• Candidates having GCC region experience are preferred for familiarity with local market conditions
• Strong understanding of procurement regulations and guidelines.
• Experience with SAP systems and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic procurement plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, minimizing risk and maximizing value.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and specifications.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships to foster collaboration and address any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
• Utilize advanced procurement software and analytical tools to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry developments, trends, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, monitoring and reporting on key metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
