Assistant Manager - RM Procurement

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for sourcing raw materials for product development and providing procurement support for new launches within the specified timeframe for Regulated and Semi-Regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for new products/molecules based on inquiries from the Portfolio/Business team; initiate and manage the Request for Information (RFI) process.
• Select the most suitable suppliers based on business strategy and product requirements.
• Ensure the timely availability of documents for IP clearance and DMF assessment.
• Arrange samples for development and procure materials to meet filing and launch timelines.
• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and product movements.
• Oversee the execution of Techno-Commercial agreements and Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA).
• Ensure timely completion of quality documentation requirements and responses to regulatory queries.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports to track monthly performance.

Preferred Experience:

• 7 to 8 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within a reputed pharmaceutical company.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies.
• Proficiency in negotiations and supplier relationship management.
• Understanding of import formalities and quality control processes.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, or Ariba systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE), Chemistry (BSc), or Pharmacy (BPharm).
• Postgraduate diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or Business Administration.
