Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Global IT Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of IT products and services on a global scale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost reduction, cost avoidance, cash flow management, and overseeing the Source to Contract (S2C) cycle. They will be expected to maintain SLA compliance, improve processes and systems, and work with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires experience in IT vendor management, contract negotiations, and working with international vendors (APAC, USA, Europe).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full Source to Contract (S2C) cycle, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and procurement policies.
• Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance, and cash flow management through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
• Independently develop and implement procurement solutions to address complex problems and challenges.
• Assist with the creation and management of RFX (RFI/RFP/RFQ) in line with business requirements.
• Lead and mentor lower-level associates, providing training and guidance on procurement processes.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors (hardware, software) and oversee their performance.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, review terms and conditions, and ensure favorable commercial terms are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, practices, and procedures for successful contracting.
• Provide ongoing support and insights into procurement strategy and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in IT procurement, ideally in IT/ITES organizations.
• Proven experience managing IT vendor relationships (software, hardware) and understanding of pricing methodologies, commercial terms, and general vendor ecosystems.
• Solid experience creating and managing RFX processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
• Expertise in contract drafting, redlining, and negotiating with vendors.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and negotiate vendor offers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex procurement issues and solutions clearly.
• Previous experience working with vendors in APAC, USA, and Europe.
• Ability to work independently, make adjustments to procurement processes, and develop tailored solutions.
