Design Engineer-MEP

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design plans for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and manufacturing staff, to integrate multidisciplinary aspects into design solutions.
• Utilize advanced CAD or related software to create and modify detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and present technical documentation and design reviews to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Produce detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports to facilitate processes.
• Implement design changes and improvements based on testing results and user feedback to enhance product performance
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that design milestones are met within allocated resources.

Desired Candidate Profile:

•Bachelors / postgraduate in mechanical engineering degree with professional certification.

•Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design, particularly in the construction industry.

•Candidates having GCC region experience are preferred for familiarity with local market conditions.

•Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of innovative solutions to engineering challenges.

•Adaptability to evolving technologies and flexibility to embrace changes in design requirements.

•Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to production, demonstrating strong project management skills.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in design and documentation.
