Associate/Senior Associate - Transactions Lawyer (3-9 yrs)

Corporate Transactions role - Bangalore

We are currently assisting our client, a specialized legal firm with expertise in cross-border transactions in their search for PE/VC Associates in Bangalore.

Details of the two roles below:

1. Associate (3-4 PQE)

Location: Bangalore

Role Focus:

- Handling venture capital/private equity transactions in India.

- Structuring deals, drafting legal documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Supporting cross-border work involving startups and investor-side representation.

Key Requirements:

- 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in VC/PE work in India.

- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks

- Exposure to cross-border transactions is highly desirable.

- Hands-on experience in drafting and structuring agreements.

2. Senior Associate (5-9 PQE)

Location: Bangalore

Role Focus:

- Managing VC/PE transactions for both company and investor-side clients.

- Advising startups on legal structuring, funding lifecycle stages, and global investor structures.

- Drafting precise, high-quality legal documents for startup clients.

- Collaborating on cross-border legal work with US counterparts.

Key Requirements:

- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in VC/PE work.

- Prior experience in representing both companies and investors preferred, but either/or is also acceptable.

- Demonstrated expertise in startup representation and understanding regulatory aspects.

- Strong skills in crafting precise legal language.

- Exposure to cross-border work is highly desirable.
