Job Description
- Identify and source new leads from various channels such as databases, social media, or purchased lead lists.
- Conduct research to understand the target audience, including their needs and preferences.
- Make calls to prospects to introduce the companys products or services.
- Establish rapport with potential clients, building trust and interest in the offering.
- Effectively pitch products or services and highlight key benefits.
- Qualify leads by asking probing questions to assess their needs, budget, and readiness to buy.
- Gather necessary information to determine if the lead is a good fit for the business.
- Schedule follow-up meetings, demos, or consultations with interested leads.
- Ensure that leads are transferred to the appropriate sales team member when necessary.
- Deal with rejection and objections professionally and maintain persistence.
- Keep a positive attitude and continue making calls without getting discouraged.
- Record all call interactions, including notes about the prospect’s interest, objections, and follow-up plans.
- Keep track of lead status and any actions required.
- Meet daily, weekly, or monthly call and conversion targets as set by management
- Monitor and evaluate performance to ensure targets are met and exceeded
- Collect feedback from potential customers about their needs or concerns.
- Relay insights about competitor products or services and customer preferences to the sales or marketing teams
