Anubavam Technologies - Senior Business Analyst (8-10 yrs)

Position Summary :

Anubavam Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Analyst (BA) who will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

The BA will work closely with business units to gain in-depth understanding of their strategy, processes, services, and the context in which the business operates.

This role involves identifying and documenting business requirements, leading user acceptance testing, and ensuring that project deliverables align with business needs and strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Use cutting-edge methods to leverage the latest advancements in technology, ensuring that our clients benefit from state-of-the-art tools and systems.

- These innovations not only streamline processes but also provide a competitive edge in the ever-evolving educational landscape to collect, examine, and evaluate the data needed.

- Must have at least 8 to 10 years of experience delivering complicated solutions where the candidate gathered requirements beginning at the kick-off stage.

- Strong experience in gathering needs and working with international clients.

- Understanding of wire-frames, and ability to create them.

- Capability to create Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams and use case diagrams for system design and requirement specification.

- Proficient in managing stakeholder relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring their requirements are met.

- Prepare the business requirements and functional requirements documents.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Skill-Set :

- Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, using techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.

- Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions.

- Utilize data analytics to interpret data and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

- Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to interpret and analyze complex datasets.

- Work with project managers and technical teams to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are delivered on time.

- Develop comprehensive business and functional requirements documents, as well as user manuals and training materials.

- Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the implemented solutions meet the predefined business requirements.

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates on project progress.

Qualification :

- Should have 8 to 10 years of business analyst experience.

- Abilities to analyze problems, solve problems, and work both individually and together.

- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.

- Significant experience in Agile software development projects.

- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

- Worked in the IT sector and has experience with ERP solutions.

- Candidates with International exposure are preferred.

Other Requirements :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

- Prior experience of working onsite in the Higher Education segment in the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia (apart from India) is an added advantage.
