Warehouse Head - eCommerce (8-15 yrs)

Job Title: Warehouse Head

Experience: 8 to 15 years

Role Brief:

Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance & customer experience with respect to warehousing operations.

You'll be Required to -

- Think out of the box and drive the innovative solutions for implementing Kaizen.

- Drive a zero-tolerance mindset for deviation from the quality of processes to ensure customer deliverables are met fully.

- Plan, Negotiate with vendors and implement the projects

- Ensure an efficient warehouse operation which is able to function as per the agreed capacity of the shifts.

- Develop and maintain metrics/KPIs, reports, process documentation and training and safety records.

- Ensure KPI adherence of Inward, outward, return, inventory & CS operations. 5- Keep a track of KPI adherence & daily review with 3PL.

- Detailed capacity planning with 3PL (Infra, Manpower).

- Monitor Inventory Control measures of daily counts and Statutory Inventory Audits. Ensure that operations SOPs are adhered to.

- Responsible for Overall Operation Inward / Outward / Returns and Coordination with Vendors of FM & LM.

- Closure & keeping a record of exceptions of Inward, outwards & returns.

- Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives

- Coach, manage and develop warehouse staff and team leaders to optimise performance and meet targets and deadlines

- Communicate with warehouse staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational requirements

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

- Proactiveness on escalations for any visible indication which might impact the performance of operations.

You Are The Right Fit, If You Have -

- 8-15 years of experience in warehouse operations, or supply chain management, with prior experience in managing a 3PL warehouse at scale.

- Proven management skills with the ability to optimize self & team performance and development.

- High degree of analytical skills with innovation in solutions in Warehousing

- Proven track record in designing and implementing warehousing solutions for efficiencies

- Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business.

- Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team able to meet objectives and agreed targets.

- Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse management systems

- Strong decision-making skills.

- Excellent attention to detail skills.
