Delivery Head

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and own local as well as international Implementation / Upgrade and Migration Projects for Enterprise clients from initiation to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, including, risk management, resource allocation and communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with international teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Implement risk management strategies and proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and sales to ensure project success.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management methodologies and practices.
• Monitor project progress, conduct regular status meetings, and provide timely reports to senior management.
• Encourage a culture of team-driven decision making and commitment. Encourage team trust and facilitate team building events.
• Where appropriate, coaches the teams to improve collaboration and outcomes

Project Monitoring and Reporting:

• Design and implement a centralized reporting framework to track the progress of all active projects in real time.
• Monitor and analyze project KPIs, such as milestone achievement rates, ticket resolution times, and resource utilization.
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior leadership with insights and recommendations.

Governance and Risk Escalation:

• Collaborate with governance teams to establish clear escalation workflows for delayed milestones or critical issues.
• Regularly review high-risk projects and ensure timely resolution of escalated items.

Resource Planning and Optimization:

• Forecast resource needs based on the project pipeline and ensure optimal allocation of pod leads and engineers.
• Maintain a reserve pool for unexpected project demands or escalations.

Client Satisfaction and Delivery Quality:

• Measure and report client satisfaction levels at each stage of the implementation process.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during UAT and final handover.

Change and Scope Management:

• Develop a structured framework for handling change requests during implementation.
• Evaluate the impact of changes on timelines and budgets and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Post-Implementation Review:

• Conduct lessons-learned sessions post-implementation and ensure continuous improvement in delivery processes.

KPIs for Success

• % of projects delivered on time and within budget.
• UAT pass rate (% of successful UATs without major issues).
• Ticket resolution time for critical issues.
• Resource utilization rate.
• Client satisfaction score (post-delivery feedback).
