Assistant Manager - Payroll Processing

Purpose of the Role:

To manage the payroll and final settlement processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Verify payroll processing inputs.
• Ensure accuracy in employee final settlements.
• Check and post financial journal vouchers (JVs).
• Review statutory reports and ensure timely statutory payments.
• Oversee payroll-related payments as a checker.
• Compute income and ensure accurate TDS deduction on salaries.
• Verify PAN statuses.
• File quarterly salary returns.
• Maintain a tracker to monitor the status of final settlements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate with knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
