Job Description: Training Manager

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead our learning and development initiatives. This role will be pivotal in identifying training needs, designing effective training programs, and ensuring their successful implementation to enhance employee skills and align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Needs Analysis:
    • Identify training needs across departments through assessments, surveys, and consultations with managers.
    • Analyze skills gaps and create tailored training roadmaps.
  2. Training Design & Development:
    • Develop and update training modules, materials, and resources for offline and online delivery.
    • Create programs focusing on customer journey, customer support, product knowledge, processes, and soft skills.
  3. Implementation & Delivery:
    • Conduct engaging and impactful training sessions for employees, using various delivery methods (classroom, virtual, workshops, etc.).
    • Train and guide employees on customer-centric approaches and product expertise.
  4. Evaluation & Effectiveness:
    • Evaluate training outcomes and measure the effectiveness of programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Continuously refine programs based on feedback and organizational goals.
  5. Collaboration & Coordination:
    • Work closely with department heads to align training objectives with business needs.
    • Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the training programs are innovative and competitive.
  6. Training Modalities:
    • Design and deliver both offline and online training programs.
    • Leverage technology for e-learning initiatives and manage learning management systems.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in the Fashion/Retail industry with a strong focus on training and development.
  • Proven experience in training need identification, gap analysis, and module creation.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in soft skills training, including customer support and customer journey management.
  • Hands-on experience with both online and offline training methods.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
