Job Position Summary
Design & executes the Compensation and Benefits strategy, ensuring legal compliance/ regulatory requirements and that addresses talent attraction and engagement.
Benefits design and implementation, HR governance and Audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist development of strategy and processes for executing compensation framework with reference job grading / job evaluation, external market benchmarking.
2. Evolve C&B structures that are compliant and that addresses talent attraction and retention needs of diverse employee base.
3. Guide and supervise the team members for payroll and benefit preparation and execution accurately and timely; oversees and controls taxes / other deductions.
4. Manage employee benefits in the organisation based on competitive benchmarks and evolve.
5. Analyse data to measure the effectiveness of Compensation or benefit programs.
6. Perform regular audits to ensure program accuracy and compliance with regulations.
7. Ensure storage, maintenance and retrieval of employee records, both physical and in HRIS, payroll system. Ensure appointment letters and all types of employment related communication to employees is accurate, up-to-date and exercise due control for easy generation, storage and retrieval
8. Ensure that bank payment entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities for payroll are accurate, timely and meet the regulatory requirements.
9. Oversee and execute all compliances under various labour laws, quarterly / bi-annual / annual returns and miscellaneous need base report generation and MIS.
10. Assesses, selects vendors and partners for C&B, that meet the service delivery, quality and cost effectiveness expectations. Maintains governance control for SLA management and improvements based on analysis of performance metrics.
11. Partners and supports HR BPs to execute and manages core talent management processes of talent acquisition, onboarding, development and assessment; performance management; competency and skill management; employee engagement & retention, training & development, leadership development; in alignment with HR strategies / policies and processes.
12. Coaches and mentors team members, assigns work as per skills; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
13. Any other tasks assigned by the organization including and not limited to above.
Desired Qualification / certifications
Graduate in any discipline. MBA in HR is preferred. Any certification for taxation / C&B / HRIS operations preferred, but not mandatory
Preferred relevant work experience
1) HR Payroll, compensation and benefits administration and H.R processes.
2) Labour legislation compliance and front facing interaction with govt / regulatory authories
