Job Description

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager - Training Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that align with the organization s goals. This role focuses on enhancing employee skills, fostering career growth, and driving organizational performance through effective learning initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Training Needs Analysis

  • Conduct training needs assessments by collaborating with department heads and managers.
  • Identify skill gaps and areas for development across the organization.

Program Design Development

  • Design training modules and learning paths tailored to individual and organizational needs.
  • Develop e-learning materials, workshops, and hands-on training sessions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative training methodologies.

Training Delivery

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
  • Coordinate with external trainers or consultants when required.

Evaluation Feedback

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Use data insights to refine and enhance training initiatives.

Employee Development

  • Support career development planning by identifying growth opportunities for employees.
  • Implement leadership development and succession planning programs.

Budget Management

  • Manage the training and development budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Compliance Reporting

  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on training activities and outcomes.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with HR, department heads, and senior management to align training initiatives with business objectives.
Qualifications Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in Training Development or a related HR role.
  • Certification in training methodologies (e.g., TTT, ADDIE, or similar) is preferred.
Required Skills

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools.

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to assess training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
  • Data-driven approach to identify trends and improve programs.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong facilitation and public speaking abilities.

Organizational Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and training schedules simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail in program planning and execution.
